Mrs. Patricia Ann Blanton, 65, of Fayetteville, died Monday, August 25, 2014, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at 2 pm in Person Street United Methodist Church. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. Pat was preceded in death by her father, Mack B. Herring and her daughter, Charlotte Marie Safron. She is survived by her husband, John Blanton; son, Pete Landreth and wife, Kristen of Williamsburg, VA and their children, Andrew, Hannah and Nathan; daughter, Candace Candler of Fayetteville and her children, Kaleigh, Kaelus and Kasey; and Marie's children, Lauren, Jordan, Sydney, Destin, Marisal and Collin; one great-grandchild, Logan; her mother, Evelyn Page of Fayetteville; brother, Mack B. Herring, Jr of Fayetteville; and sister, Darlene McDuffie of Fayetteville.
