Patricia T. Lusk, died Tuesday, March 8th, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11th, 2016 at 11am at Person Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Alyce Singletary presiding. The burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

Patsy was born on March 17th, 1926 in Damascus, Virginia to Luther and Carrie Trent. Shortly, after graduating High School, she married her husband of 49 years, CW4 (Ret) Paul F. Lusk. As a homemaker she devoted her life to raising her seven kids. From the age of 17, she taught Sunday School, was a member of Person Street United Methodist Church and a 30-year member of the Wednesday Bible Study.

Mrs. Lusk was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Lusk; sons, Parris and Paul Lusk; and daughter Pamela Hill.

She is survived by her daughters, Polly Lusk-Rickman, Phoebe Espinal, and Prudence Inderbitzen, all of Fayetteville, NC; her sister, Joanne Lucas of Marmet, WV; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10 from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
