WADE - Mrs. Patricia W. McLaurin, 70, of 5971 Dunn Road, died Sunday, April 24, 2011, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Mrs. McLaurin was a long-standing member of Bluff Presbyterian Church. She was retired from Hubbard Pipe & Supply Co. after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Vance McLaurin; and parents, Richard A. \\"Bill\\" and Edith House Walker. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011, in Bluff Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Salem United Methodist Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight, Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. McLaurin is survived by a son, Bryan McLaurin and wife Tina of Fayetteville; two daughters, Veronica Hedges and husband Jeff of New Bern, and Denise Kulesa of Fayetteville; three sisters, Jean McLaurin, Martha Holmes and Mary Lynn Sasser; a brother, David Walker; and her grandchildren, Patrick McLaurin, Zachary McLaurin and Jared Hedges; and a very special friend, Derek Beard.
