Mrs. Patricia Aycock "Sue" Thomas, 72, died Friday, April 14, 2017.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 11 am in Camp Ground United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Thomas Greener and Rev. Dennis Lamm presiding. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 to 11 am at the church. A graveside service will also be held on Monday at 3:30 pm in Fremont, NC at the Charles B. Aycock Birthplace-Cemetery.

Sue was born July 4, 1944, in Fremont, NC, to the late William Gordon Aycock and Marjorie L. Aycock. She has been a member of Camp Ground UMC since April 1987. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Gordon Aycock, Jr.; and sister, Kitzi A. Davis.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen L. Thomas; daughter, Amanda T. Allen; son, Stephen L. Thomas, Jr.; grandchildren, Alexandra, Megan, Rachel, Olivia, Mirra and Joshua; and her beloved niece, Robin Radford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Ground United Methodist Church.
