Mrs. Patsy Hall Walton, 85, of Fayetteville, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, in Carroll S. Roberson Hospice Center.
Mrs. Walton was a member of Baptist Chapel Church in Autryville. She was a retired switchboard supervisor for DuPont in Wilmington, Del.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 25, 2008, in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville. The Rev. Archie Barringer will officiate. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.
The visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Walton was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Walton; a daughter, Cheryl Walton; and a son, Michael Powell.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Walton and wife Toni of New Carrollton, Md., Patrick Walton of Wilmington, Del., Jack Walton of Westerly, R.I., and Robert Powell of Baltimore; her daughters, Martha Jones and husband Dick of Westerly, Faith Savage and husband Walt of Ellicott City, Md., and Hope Clever and husband Bob of Chambersburg, Pa.; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Carroll S. Roberson Hospice Center, 2431 Legion Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
