Patty Lee Core Strange 81, of Fayetteville, NC Passed away on Thursday August 8th 2019  in her home

She was Born June 24, 1938  Member of Northwood Temple, she is survived by Husband George Lovell Strange, of the home, 3 children- son Carl Bennett Strange (Patty Hood), of Fayetteville, N.C. daughter Ronda Leigh Thomas of Stedman, NC and son George Lovell Strange, Jr. (Jennifer Strange).

15 grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren

Predeceased by her mother Tressie H. Core, her step-mother Ruby P. Core, her father James Core and her first husband Ronald Beverly and her sister Peggy Love Harris.

Patty was a lover of Christ first, then her husband, children, grandchildren and a host of non biological children she took in as her own. She loved serving the Lord in her actions and words. She traveled doing mission work as she felt led to and to see our great country and world. She also loved to quilt, play cards, and spending time with her family

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 2pm in Northwood Temple Church

A Private Family Committal will be held later at Cumberland Memorial Gardens
