Paul James Joseph was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Phillip John Joseph and late Nancy Carol Smith of Wisconsin. The family moved their young son and older daughter Marlene to Framingham, MA where Paul accepted the Lord the night before his birthday as he didn't want to take any chances! He continued to grow into an inquisitive young man in love with His Savior and fascinated by writing, movie making, and photography. Ultimately, his creative endeavors saw not just doing, but teaching. Paul took advantage of many opportunities to share his mind both in the US and abroad, in the Netherlands where he taught for a year. Paul's documentary work earned him an award from the MA Epilepsy Foundation for his documentary Epilepsy: The Untold Stories.

Paul is survived by his wife of 18 years Tyreese Joseph; 12-year-old son Ian Sampson Joseph; sister Marlene Giardini and husband Stephen; nephew Stephen Giardini, Jr.; niece Theresa Eckberg and husband Jared; aunt Susan Manalli.

Paul's Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12 at 11.30AM at Providence Presbyterian ARP located at 400 Eastwood Avenue, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

Interment will follow immediately at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Family and friends are welcome to join us for fellowship and repast back at Providence following the interment
