FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Pauline Gardner Boehm, 86, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012, in her home in Fayetteville. She was born March 2, 1926, in Sampson County, to the late Paul Gardner of Clinton, and Erdise Moore of Baltimore. Mrs. Boehm was also preceded in death by her sister, Olive Toohill of Baltimore; Cicero Green of Williamsburg, Va.; and Clarence Gardner of Dover. Pauline Gardner was married to the founder of the United States Navy S.E.A.L.S. She was employed by the United States Navy Bureau of Navy Weapons. Mrs. Pauline Gardner Boehm is survived by her two sons, James Shaw Boehm and Paul Henri Boehm. A graveside service for Mrs. Pauline Gardner Boehm will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Pine View Cemetery in Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends tonight, Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville from 7 to 9 p.m. I am home in heaven, dear ones; oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain grief is over, every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, safely home in heaven at last.VISITATION: 7-9PM, Wednesday, April 4 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2PM Thursday, April 5 at Pine View Cemetery in Rocky Mount, NC
