Pauline Barbour "Polly" Barbee, 83 of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday January 24, 2010. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Edwin Barbee in 1974. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, the funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the chapel with the Rev. Ken Earwood officiating, burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. She is survived by her son, Steven Thomas "Steve" Barbee and wife Peggy of Garner, a son-in-law, Ben Ray and wife Doris of Hope Mills, Two sisters, Helene Williams of Smithfield and Geraldine Evans of Garner, and a brother, Cecil Barbour of Smithfield, 4 Grandchildren, Jonathan Ray of Tucson, Az, Stephanie Barbee of Lynchgburg, Va, Matthew Barbee and wife Shannon of Greensboro, and Amanda Barbee of Seattle Washington. And a great Grandchild, Brayden Barbee. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church building fund 219 Hull Road Fayetteville, NC 28303-5912.
