Pauline DePaolo Starks was welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ on March 24, 2021. Born July 24, 1934 in New York City, Mrs. Starks was a long-time resident of Fayetteville, NC. She served as Secretary for Cumberland County and Fort Bragg Schools for many years.

Mrs. Starks is survived by her husband of 67 years, Billy G. Starks, Sr.; her children, Billy G. Starks, Jr. of Fayetteville, and Diane Starks Miller (Bob) of Lynwood, WA; five grandchildren, Matt Starks (Amber), Brooke Quantock (Chris), Rachel Uhlig (Jonathan), Josh Miller (Michaela), and Bobby Miller (Megan); and seven great-grandchildren, Grace McNeill Starks; Landon, Cohen, and Savannah Quantock; Georgie Miller; and Audrey and Charlie Miller.  She loved her family dearly and prayed for them daily.

The family will receive friends at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home from 5:30pm to 7:30pm on Friday, April 2, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
