Mrs. Pauline Fowler Williford, 90, of Fayetteville, died Monday, July 31, 2006, in Whispering Pines Nursing Home. Mrs. Williford was a charter member of Providence Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her health declined. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Charles H. Williford Sr., and a daughter, Margaret Jean Williford. She is survived by a son, Charles H. Williford Jr., of Anderson, SC; two daughters, Charlene Lewis of Raleigh and Betty Barefoot and her husband, Carl, of Hope Mills; two granddaughters, Lisa Papenfus and her husband, Jeff, of Greenville, SC, and Crystal Schroeder and her husband, Adam, of Charlotte; a grandson, Christopher Barefoot, of Hope Mills; a great-granddaughter, Lily Ann Schroeder; two sisters, Martha Stewart and her husband, Clarence, of Fayetteville and Ola Bradley of Erwin; and two brothers, Wilton D. Fowler of Fayetteville and Jimmie Fowler and his wife, Jessie of Sunset Harbor. The funeral will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, August 3, 2006, at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends tonight, Wednesday, August 2, 2006, from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
