Peggy Joyce Carpenter, 75, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Womack Army Hospital on Fort Bragg. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at 2 pm in Jernigan Warren Chapel. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. Mrs. Carpenter is survived by a sister, Sarah Schieda of Dearborn, Michigan; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and caregivers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday evening, April 9, 2007, at the funeral home. The family asks that memorials may be made to either to Animal Haven (Fayetteville Animal Protection Society) 3927 Bragg Blvd. Fayetteville NC 28303 or to one's favorite charity.
