Peggy Sue Messer Terry, 81, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Ms. Terry was born on February 19, 1940, in Harnett County, NC, to the late James and Isabel Messer. She was retired from Black and Decker.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in Lafayette Memorial Park.

Ms. Terry is survived by two daughters, Charlene West of Lillington and Kathy Parker of Greensboro; four sisters, Joyce Brantley of Lillington, Evelene Hudson of Lillington, Gail Williams of Raeford, and Deborah Dunn of Lillington; two brothers, Bobby Messer of Broadway and Wayne Messer of Lillington; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
