LITTLE RIVER, S.C. - Mrs. Peggy Norris Seacrist, 78, of Little River, S.C., and formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, in Eastman, Ga. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, N.C. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 tonight at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Mrs. Seacrist was born in Asheville, N.C., and was presently living with her son, Billy Seacrist of Eastman. She was a cosmetologist, daughter of the late Pauline Haithcock Norris and Ducan Norris. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Seacrist; a son, Donald G. Collins; and a grandson, John Paul Seacrist II. She is survived by her son, Billy Seacrist (Connie) of Eastman; three granddaughters, Christina Nicole Seacrist, Kathleen Marie Seacrist and Kimberly Robin Aracho; a great-grandson, Seth Farley; a sister, Geraldine Hall of Suwanee, Ga.; three stepgranddaughters, April Moore, Ginger Watkins and Sandy Hardy; and five great-stepgrandchildren.
