Mr. Philip Angelo Montaldo, 84, of Fayetteville, NC, died Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center.

Philip was born April 19, 1939, in Sag Harbor, NY, to the late Peter Montaldo and Lena Gallenti Montaldo.  Philip retired from the US Army.

Philip is survived by his wife, Emma Montaldo, daughters, Rebecca Montaldo (and husband Jimmy Teal) and Linda Montaldo Thornton; grandchildren, Philip, JoBeth, Glenna, and Patrick; brother, Brian Montaldo; and sister-in-law, Mildred Montaldo.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Archangel Catholic Church, 806 Arsenal Ave., Fayetteville, NC 28305.
