Phyllis McLamb Herring, 83, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Bethesda Health Care Facility in Eastover with her beloved family by her side.

Phyllis was born September 21, 1939 in Sampson County, NC to the late Lillian and Otis McLamb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Herring.

Phyllis was the Co-Owner of Herring Electronics. She was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Rev. Paul Jackson, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11:00 AM on Thursday.

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Stephen "Steve" Herring and wife Jan, Dwayne Herring and wife Deborah; daughter, Angela Johnson and husband Ray; grandchildren, Stephen Herring (Kati), Keith Herring (Madison), Cory McBride (Elizabeth), Erin Deuel (Glenn), Jennifer Brown (Bill), Ryan Johnson (Maria), Kyle Johnson (Jami), Jami Fortier (Brad), Kasey Fields (Mark), Sara Herring, and Tessa Herring; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
