R. Carlisle Bullard -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. Roy Carlisle Bullard, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mr. Bullard was the son of the late Onslow and Florie "Florine" Bullard; and husband of the late Elsie Nixon Bullard. In 1943, Mr. Bullard began working at the Haymount Market at 1300 Morganton Road. In the late 1960s, Mr. Bullard became the sole proprietor of the store that became a Fayetteville landmark known for the unique quality of its specialty meats and personal service. Mr. Bullard
