Rachel Lee Singer, 37 of Linden, NC passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.
Rachel was born August 24, 1979 in Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1998. Rachel earned her associates degree in Drafting and Building Design from FTCC in 2000. Rachel started her career with Wal-Mart in 1997, as a cashier, worked many positions in the store and later worked with the home office as a store planning and development supervisor, and came back to the store level, as a department manager when she married her husband Chris.
Rachel is preceded in death by her mother Jeanne Wiseman Webb, maternal grandparents Norman and Emma Wiseman, paternal grandfather Theron A. Webb Sr, maternal aunts, Debra Wiseman and Karen Shillinglaw.
Rachel is survived by her husband Christopher Singer, daughter, Gabrielle Singer, granddaughter, Addison Hollingsworth, father, Theron A. Webb, Jr, paternal grandmother Alice D. Webb, her sisters, Heather Neal and Jennifer Cooper, nieces Haylee Neal, Emmalee Neal, Kylie Cooper, nephew Kaden Cooper, Uncle James Finney, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, inlaws, as well as her "Wal-Mart Family".
Rachel had a love of animals, books, collecting bottles, historical building design, and the beach. Family was everything to Rachel. She gave of herself, every day she lived, and even through death as a donor and through "Locks of Love". Though we all mourn her loss, we know in our hearts.........She is in great company in heaven.
The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 4pm to 5:30pm with a memorial service following in the funeral home chapel at 5:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to an animal charity.......
