Mr. Ralph Eugene Clabo, Sr., 78, of Hope Mills passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville after a lengthy illness.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Praise Fellowship Church of God at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Williford presiding. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the church. The burial service will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sue; four daughters, Nina Watson (Russ) of Sacramento, CA, Gail Coughron of Knoxville, TN, Wanda Williams of Southport, NC, and Yvette Clabo of Miami, FL; three sons, Ralph, Jr., Jeff (Beth), and Michael "Cosmo" (Jenny), all of Fayetteville; one sister, Faye Green of Sevierville, TN; two brothers, David and Brady, both of Sevierville, TN; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. For 32 years, Mr. Clabo was a faithful employee of David Allen Company. After his retirement, he worked tirelessly in the advancement of the Kingdom of God. He served as a Sunday School teacher, and was elected to serve on the Church and Pastor's Council. To realize the extent of his contribution, one need only view the sanctuary at Praise Fellowship Church of God. He along with his committee, turned a simple structure into a beautiful house of worship. His sacrificial spirit and love will be greatly missed.
