Ralph Rodney McLaurin, Jr, 69, of Eastover, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 3 pm in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Rev. Dr. Kelly Bullard and Rev. Eckwood Lancaster presiding. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park.

Ralph was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Fayetteville Fire Department after 34 years of service. He also worked with the Eastover Volunteer Fire Department for 23 years. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Rodney McLaurin, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith G. McLaurin; his daughter, Julie Smith and husband Wendell of Vander; grandson, Spencer Smith; his mother, Hilda Gray of Eastover; siblings, Cathy Roop, Doug McLaurin, Walter McLaurin and Anita Parham, all of Eastover; and his mother-in-law, Eunice L. Galacci.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 3 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
