Smith, Raul A. SPRING LAKE - Raul Alonzo Smith, 18, of 62 Robeson Court, died Monday, April 6, 2009. Raul's sense of humor and ability to love unconditionally is memorable. He took into account everyone's needs and dreams. He did not sweat the small stuff. Raul was loving, funny, creative, and intent on making the world realize that you should never judge a book by its cover. He felt a strong sense of duty to his country. Raul was a ROTC cadet at Methodist University. He will be missed always. He is survived by his parents, Benny and Araceli \\"R.C.\\" Smith; brother, Benny Smith; sister, Samantha Smith; and maternal grandparents, Lorenza and Manuel Rivera. A funeral service will be conducted at noon Friday, April 10, 2009, in Reeves Auditorium at Methodist University with Father Folley officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9p.m. today, April 9, 2009, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
