Ray Eugene Boyles, III, 74, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Ray was born in Forsyth County, NC on June 23, 1947 to the late Carrie Mae Tesh Boyles and Ray E. Boyles, Jr.

Ray retired from Fasco Industries with 26 years of service. He was an Air Force Vietnam Veteran.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 3 pm at the Moravian Church Cemetery, 3535 Spangenberg Ave., Clemmons, NC 27012 with Rev. Christopher Thor, officiating. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 6-8:00 pm on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Ray is survived by his son, Joseph Barnett and wife Audra of Stedman; daughter, Susan Cox and husband Jim of Fayetteville; sister, Patricia Gossett of Hilton Head, SC; grandchildren, Joshua Barnett and wife Kari, Grace Barnett; nephew, Brandon Gossett and wife Maria of Atlanta, GA; cousins, Greg O'Reilly of Colfax, Gail Ketner and Judy Sink of Winston-Salem.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
