Ray Don Sibley, 69, of Fayetteville, NC, died Friday, February 3, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Ray was born December 4, 1953, in Mitchell County, Kansas, to the late Harold Duane Sibley and Betty Mott Sibley.   He was retired from the US Army.  Ray was preceded in death by siblings, Rory Sibley, Richard Peterson, Harold K. Sibley, June Ellis, and Diane Jones.

Ray is survived by his wife, Chong Chin Sibley; daughter, Kristy Macy and husband Brian; sisters, Janis Koch and husband Kenny, Barbara Anderson and husband James, Carol Thompson and husband Phillip, Rose Hearen and husband Ronald; brothers, Jessie Peterson Jr, Fred Sibley and wife Jayne, Rex Sibley and wife Marian, Gary Sibley, and Randy Sibley and wife Dawn; grandchildren, Brennon Lee Adkins, Austin Kyle Wallace, Rayanna Marie Wallace, Thomas Andrew Haywood Jr; and great-granddaughter, Gracelynn Elizabeth Adkins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, with a graveside service in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg, NC.
