HOPE MILLS - Retired Sgt. Maj. Raymond Lewis Eaton, 79, of 3205 Legion Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel in Fayetteville. The burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with military honors. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Marie \\"Recie\\" Eaton of the home; 3 sons, Raymond M. Eaton, Terry L. Eaton and Mark E. Eaton; sisters, Deloris Beeman and Faye Fennell; brother, James Eaton; two grandsons, Michael W. Walker and Alexander Eaton; and a great-granddaughter, Crissy Langley.
