Raymond Earl "Sonny" Parrish, 83 of Fayetteville, Passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 10am to 11am at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, a memorial service will follow at 11am in the funeral home chapel.

Raymond E. Parrish "Sonny" was born in Kemah, TX. After high school, Sonny joined the U.S. Army. Sonny served several overseas tour's and 2 tours in Vietnam. Sonny served the Army by operating medium Artillery Specialist and as an Intelligence Specialist. Sonny's final assignment was Fort Bragg, NC from which he retired in 1971. After retiring, Sonny worked in the automotive repair business opening several shops with partners in and around the Fayetteville area.

Sonny is survived by a sister of Eglin, TX, a son of Virginia & a daughter of NC. He is also survived by 5 grand children and 2 great grand children.
