Mrs. Rebecca Tew Peele, 79, died Sunday, February 19, 2017 in Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Rebecca loved to spend time with her grandchildren and always enjoyed a good book.

She is predeceased by her husband, Bruce and son, Thurman.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice Marie Paradowski, husband Jay; two grandchildren, Alina and Jamison; 4 sisters, Betty Scarborough, Joyce Smallwood, Mildred Melton, and Maxine Neidigh; and one brother, Otho Tew, Jr.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Lafayette Memorial Park at 1 P.M. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
