Mrs. Rebecca (Duffer) Poston, 69, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday morning, July 22, 2015, in her home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11 am in Jernigan Warren Chapel with Rev. John Blackman officiating. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Jerry Poston of the home; son, Ronald Duffer and wife Christa of Linden; 2 grandchildren, Arington and Ashlan; 3 step-grandchildren, Shannon Tatum, Ryan Poston, and Lynette Poston; brother, Tommy D. O'Quinn and wife Patsy of Linden; four sisters, Martha Boyette of Smithfield, Brenda Swann and husband Dick of Linden, Fannie Jordan of Fayetteville and Dorothy Duffer of Fayetteville; sister-in-law, Connie O'Quinn of Linden; and special friend, Jennifer Hall of Fayetteville.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Steve Duffer; and brother, James B. O'Quinn.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, July 23, from 6 to 8 pm at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home.
