CSM Reginald Salinas U.S. Army Retired, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016.

Mr. Salinas was a veteran of the Vietnam War, a founding member of the 1st BN 75th Rangers serving later in the 7th Special Forces Group and the Special Warfare Center. He later served as the 3 BN 75th Ranger Command Sergeant Major.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors.

Surviving are his daughters, Gina Hill and Patricia Reed; son, Gabe Salinas; sisters, Irene Sanchez, Elvia Salinas, Simona Vasquez, Belle Trankle and Annamarie Yates; brothers, Ruben, Virgil, Anthony, Robert and Manuel Salinas; 7 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Patricia Reed, 2409 Kimbolton Dr. Fayetteville, NC 28306.
