Mrs. Retta Mae Toler Hedges, 65, of Eastover, passed away Monday morning, February 3, 2014, in her home, with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014, at 2 pm in Lebanon Baptist Church with Rev. Del Toler and Rev. Craig Autry presiding. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2 pm at the church. Retta was born May 18, 1948, in Logan County, West Virginia to the late Lafey and Janie Brickles Toler. She was retired from Hexion Chemical/ Borden Chemical as East Coast Customer Service Manager; and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Chester Hedges of the home; sons, Douglas Schultz and wife, Marianne, of Grass Valley, California and Stephen Hedges and wife, Julianna, of Falcon; daughter, Rhonda Dorman and husband, Stephen, of Dunn; brothers, Pete Toler and wife, Gail, of Racine, Wisconsin and Del Toler and wife, Lilly, of Santa Fe, Texas; sisters, Karen Cronrath of Eastover and Naomi Morgan and husband, Daniel, of Eastover; and 5 grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan,Landon, Joshua, and Samantha. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dominion Christian Center (attn: Retta Mae Hedges Memorial Fund) , 1874 Cedar Creek Road, Fayetteville NC 28312.
