Mr. Rickey L. Cherry, 60 of 1028 McPhail Rd. died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence. The family will receive friends Thurday, July 12, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 13, 2012 at 9 am in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. The burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Cherry was an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; William Lee and June Priscilla"Sue" Cherry, and a sister; Belinda Lou Cherry. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Victoria Cherry of the home, grandson; Matthew Cherry of Raeford, Daughter; Dawn Cherry of Belleville, Ill., granddaughters; Alexis, Alize, and Azalya Gambrell and Ajanae Fileds all of Belleville, Ill.
