Rita Faye Carpenter, 62, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

Faye was born on October 19, 1959, in Cumberland County to the late Charles and Cora Bell Blanton.

Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her, and she will be missed dearly.

A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. at 3314 Sanford Dr. Fayetteville, N.C.

Faye was survived by her husband, Randy Carpenter; son, Chris Stephens, and wife Marina; brothers, Charles A. Blanton and wife Charlotte, Rodney Blanton, and wife Lisa and Robert Blanton; sister, Nancy Cone and husband David; granddaughter, Mia Stephens; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces.
