Robert "Bobby" Orrin Baxter 68 of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday June 17, 2017.

Bobby was born on August 11, 1948 in North Wilkesboro. He graduated from East Wilkes High School. He retired from Lucent Technology in 2002 and moved from Atlanta, Ga to Fayetteville to be closer to his family. He worked for Little & Young Inc for 10 years.

He enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR races and watching his 3 Grandsons play sports. He is preceded in death by his parents Orrin and Erby Baxter. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Baxter Little and her husband Mark and his cousin Olivia Barker. He was known as "OBob" by his 3 Grandsons Mason, Matthew and Adam Little.

Family will receive friends at 10:00 on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 and have a Memorial service at 11:00 at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Cemetery in North Wilkesboro at 4:00.
