Robert Lee Canady, 84  of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Sunday December 13, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Robert was born on September 22, 1936 in Tarboro, N.C. to the late Willie Canady and Mary Porter Canady. He was a Retired U. S. Army Veteran, where he served with the Special Forces in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Canady; step-son, Derek D. Townsend and wife Leslie; sister, Lucille Morman; brothers, Willie Canady and wife Pearl, Purnell Canady and wife Othra; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
