Retired US Army SFC Robert E. Crawford, 70, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held graveside Saturday morning at 11 am in Cumberland Memorial Gardens with military honors. Robert Crawford was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed. We cherish the day we will be reunited with him in heaven. \\"We have sorrow now but we will see you again and our hearts will rejoice and no one will take our joy from us\\". He is survived by his wife, Isabella Crawford of the home; his children, Michael Crawford and wife Mira of Fayetteville, Diana Morgan and husband Mark of Wilmington and David Crawford and wife Kelly of Fayetteville; 6 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Alexandra Crawford, Mackenzie and Zachary Morgan, and Austin and Hailey Crawford; sister, Margaret Wells of Bessemer, AL and brother, Dow Lewis of Bessemer, AL.
