Mr. Robert S. Grice, 77, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Kitty Atkins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, after a long illness. Mr. Grice retired after working for 44 years for Burlington Mills in Raeford. He also served in the United States National Guard. Mr. Grice was preceded in death by his father, Daniel T. Grice, mother Kathleen Grice and his wife Kathy Grice. The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel with burial following in Lafayette Memorial Park West. He is survived by his children, Robert Daniel Grice, Sr. and wife Sherry of Arkansas, Anita VahHalen and husband Franklin of Fayetteville, Lynda Bryant of Tennessee, David C. Grice and wife Amy of Fayetteville, Annemarie Grice of Fayetteville, Suzanne Sell and husband Brian of Fayetteville and Christine Poll and husband Rob of Goldsboro; sisters, Betty Goff, Joyce Wallace and husband Jimmy, and Edna Dean all of Fayetteville; 19 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. and other times at the home of David and Amy Grice. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Jernigan-Warren @ 2 p.m. Burial- Lafayette Memorial Park West Visitation- Saturday, January 11, 2014 5-7 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren
