Robert Homer Johnson of Fayetteville, NC passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2021 at the age of 57.

Robert was born in Fayetteville on June 1, 1964 to Bobby Johnson and Miriam Johnson (Oetjen). He was a graduate of Cape Fear High School, class of 1983. Robert worked for PBM Graphics, Edwards Brothers Malloy, Litho Industries, and Aptus Construction.

Robert's greatest love was saltwater fishing. He also enjoyed watching Tarheel basketball and was a NASCAR fan. He loved attending concerts with his family and dining out, a favorite being Sammios Italian Restaurant. He had a love for horticulture and was an avid gardener. He attended Archangel Michael Catholic Church and Manna Church of Fayetteville.

Robert is survived by his mother Miriam Johnson (Oetjen), his brothers Charles and Matthew, his sisters Angela Levorse, Neta Ketterman, and Christine Boisen, his brother-in-laws Tim Ketterman, Stephen Levorse, and Steve Boisen, and his nieces and nephews David Ketteman, Sarah Ketterman-Tana, Storm and Dylan Levorse, and Andrew and Amanda Boisen.

He is predeceased by his father, Charles Robert (Bobby) Johnson; grandparents John and Josephine Oetjen, Homer and Nancy (Godwin) Johnson, and Aunt Mamie Jackson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 23 at 2:00 pm at Jernigan-Warren Chapel,.

The family requests that attendees wear casual clothing to include UNC or Carolina blue if possible. College rivals may be turned away at the door.
