Bob was an avid KU Jayhawks fan.

He worked for Liberal Natural Gas Company before moving to North Carolina in 1994 to work for Piedmont Natural Gas Company which he still worked for at time of his death.

Bob was a lover of music and a lover of anything technical. Ever since he was a young boy, he would collect and listen to his albums, and had quite the collection of music. In later years he became fascinated with the Ham Radio, and could be found listening and talking to others across the country. Bob also enjoyed working in his yard, planting new plants and trees, and keeping his yard in "tip top" shape.

Bob loved and was so proud of his step daughter, Shanna and her family, his sister and her children and grandchildren. One of his favorite things was to dog sit Shanna's dog, Charlie and play frisbee with him. They became good buddies.

Bob was a good man and good friend to many, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed working for Piedmont Natural Gas and working with his coworkers. He will be greatly missed by all.
