Ronald "Scott" Harry Bansley, 80, of Fayetteville passed away on November 8, 2022, at UNC Memorial Hospital.

Scott was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Richard Harold Bansley and Evelyn Mathilda Gloe Bansley.  He served with the U.S. Army and retired after 28 years.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Ryan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Barbara Nelson Bansley and his precious granddaughter, Ava Gossens.

The family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. A service will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at 10 a.m.
