Mr. Ronald "Pete" Duane Hunter, 76, of Fayetteville, died Friday, March 18, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Hunter was born November 16, 1945, in Renovo, PA, to the late Alvin James Hunter and Lucille Valeria Hunter.  Mr. Hunter enjoyed casinos, playing cards, wrestling, the Buffalo Bills, and "Murray".

Mr. Hunter was preceded in death by a brother, George Hunter; and two sisters, Jessica Cannon and Sylvia Walizer.

Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife, Gloria Fantaski Hunter; three daughters, Melissa Hunter, Rebecca Johnson (Bill), and Beth Panzer (Alan); a sister, Yvonne Jackson; two brothers, Robert Hunter (Angela) and James Alvin Hunter; and three grandchildren, Peyton Johnson, Will Johnson, and Kyle Panzer.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
