FAYETTEVILLE - Retired U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Ronald L. Stellfox, 74, of 3001 Metthame Drive, died Monday, March 29, 2010, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Memorial services will be held today, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 2 p.m. in St. James Lutheran Church with the Rev. Louise Hilbert officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today, Wednesday, March 31, 2010, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Mr. Stellfox was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired with Monsanto. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Lamar Stellfox; and brother, Robert Stellfox. He is survived by his wife, Linda Stellfox of the home; sons, Michael Stellfox and wife Marcy, and Mark Stellfox, all of Austin, Texas; daughter, Stefanie Ewert and husband Mark of Fayetteville; brother, Lerue Stellfox and wife Carly of Florida; and two grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew Ewert. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 1424 Morganton Road, Fayetteville, NC 28305. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
