Mr. Ronnie Williams, 72, of White Lake, died January 13, 2023 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C. He was born in Spring Lake, NC on November 9, 1950 to the late Marie Burnette Lentz Williams and Clyde Williams. He was preceded in death by Doddie Williams (Wife). Marie Williams (Mother) and Clyde Williams, Jr. (Father)
Ronnie retired from Food Lion where he worked for 35 years. He loved his church family and attended Clearwater Chapel Church in White Lake and Colly Chapel Church in Harrells.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a friend to all that knew him and adored his family. He loved the North Carolina Tarheels. He was a fan of the New York Yankees, along with NASCAR. He was an avid deer hunter.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Colly Chapel Church, 3857 Mote Road, Harrells, NC with Pastor Lynn Epps and Pastor Jim Woodruff officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. The committal service will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park located at 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, N.C. at 3:00 p.m.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Faye Bass Williams of White Lake; son, Ronnie Williams, Jr (Dawn)of Queensbury, N.Y; daughter, Jenny Davis (Ses) of Spring Lake, daughters, Lisa Smith (Kent) of White Lake, Tina Lambert (Royce) of Angier, Kimberly Jernigan(Jerry) of Meadow, Kristie Lipscomb (Hubert) of Angier, Robin Burgess of White Lake; sister, Vickie Williams of Spring Lake; a niece Brandie Todd of Spring Lake; eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great- grandchildren.
