Mrs. Rose Rhodes Downing, 83 of Fayetteville, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Highland House Nursing Home.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Mrs. Downing was preceded in death by her husband, N.F. "Red" Downing, Jr.

Surviving are her sons, Richard, Larry and John Downing; brother, Bill Rhodes; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
