Rose Mason Eason, 67 of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Rose was born July 16, 1949 in Harnett County to the late Lloyd Mason and Elizabeth Marie Mason Hart. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Wilson "Peanut" Eason, Jr.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Jernigan-Warren Chapel with Rev. Pat Thompson, officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey St. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

She is survived by a son, Donald Eason of Fayetteville; daughter, Sharon Eason Ford and husband Jeffrey of Fayetteville; sister, Betty Hart Taylor of Charlotte; grandchildren, Johnathon Eason, Lauren Ford, Ashley Eason, and Caitlyn Eason; niece, Erin DiCola; sisters-in-law, Donna McLamb and Janie Lambert.
