Ruby Beard Britt left for her Heavenly Home Sunday, July 25, 2021.

Born on August 28, 1923, she is the last sibling of seven children of Ernest and Roberta Beard of Cedar Creek.

She is survived by daughters Brenda Hester of Charlotte, Kimberly Joyce and husband, Terry of Fayetteville; Grandchildren Heath Branch of Dallas, NC; Hope Armstrong and husband, Stephen of Charlotte; Britt Webb and husband, Jackson of Raleigh; Peter Britt and fiancée, Kelly Krauss of Kill Devil Hills, NC; Paul Britt of Colorado; a great-grandson, George Jackson Webb of Raleigh, and a step-grandson, Kramer Joyce of Lake Waccamaw. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Jimmie Andrews Britt of Dallas, NC, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Britt, Sr.; son, Harry Lee Britt, Jr., and daughter, Pamela Britt-Tatum.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 2 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. the family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the funeral service at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Place for their love and care over the past 5 years.
