Mrs. Ruby Irene Croom, 87 of Fayetteville, died Wed. Oct. 23, 2013 at the Carolina Health Care. A Funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at 12 noon at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home, burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home one hour prior to the service 11am – 12 noon at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. Surviving are her daughters, Joyce Kovolenko, Shirley Gilbert, Gail Propst, and Lisa Cross; Son, Lee Roy Croom, Jr.; brothers, J.D. Stevens, and Tommy Stevens; sisters, Catherine Baxley, Elsie Thomspson, Johnsie Bryant; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
