Ms. Ruby Bledsoe Guy, 92, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007, in Hope Mills Retirement Center in Hope Mills. She was a member and church historian at Carroll Memorial Baptist Church. She also volunteered at FAHEC. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007, in Carroll Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Raeford Cemetery. She is survived by a grandson, James Guy Sr. of Raeford; two great-grandsons, James Guy Jr. and Mattthew Guy of Fayetteville; two nieces, Patsy McClanahan of Hope Mills and Jane Smith of West Virginia; and a nephew, Jimmy Faraone of New York. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Jernigan-Warrn Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Memorials may be made to Carroll Memorial Baptist Church, 22100 Henry St., Fayetteville, NC 28306.
