FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Ruby Hall Stewart, 81, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, in her residence. Mrs. Stewart was a lifelong resident of the Cedar Creek Community, where she farmed with her husband. She was a member of Cumberland Union Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, in Cumberland Union Baptist Church with the Rev. John Blackman officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her three sons, Curtis E. Stewart and wife Mary of Mary Esther, Fla., Jackie Norwood Stewart and wife Bobby of Fayetteville, and Neal D. Stewart of Fayetteville; two daughters, Brenda Kay Carter and husband Jimmy of Fayetteville, and Angela May Packer of Fayetteville; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, in Cumberland Union Baptist Church fellowship hall. Services entrusted to Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
