Mrs. Ruth Boone Canady Deaver Ammermon,82, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Feb. 9. 2008 om Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center. Mrs. Ammermon was preceded in death by her husbands, Johnny Canady and Jennings Deaver; a brother, Charles Boone; and grandparents, Merrie and William Johnson. She was born in Wilmington to the late Henry and Fletta Johnson. Mrs. Ammermon was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church and a graduate of Fayetteville Senior High School. She co-owned Russ and Canady Grocery, was a dispatcher for the Fayetteville City Police and retired from Sears. She is survived by her husband, Walter Ammermon ofFayetteville; two sons, John L. \\"Larry\\" Canady and wife Janice B Canady of Fayetteville and Mark D. Canady and wife Grace H. Canady of Wade; five grandchildren, John L. Canady II of London, Brian F. Canady and wife Kelli of Fayetteville, David B. Canady and fiance Faye Knauss of Fuquay-Varina, Michael D. Canady and wife Susan Canady of Fayetteville, and Jennifer D. Canady and fiance Alan Nazarchyk; and four great-grandchildren, Max, Paige, Hunter, and Mason of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 7-9 tonight, Feb. 11, 2008. Fuenral services will be conducted at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home at 2 pm. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, with the Revs. Richard HIcks and Bob Lewis Officiating. Mrs. Ammermon will be laid to rest in Lafayette memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brian, David, and Michael Canady, Her grandsons; and Alan Nazarchyk, John McAllister, Duane Smith and Scott Smith. Memorials may be made to the Carrol S.
