FAYETTEVILLE -- Mrs. Ruth Cox Braswell, 92, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at The Rehab & Health Care at Village Green. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Haymount United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dennis Goodwin and the Rev. Woody Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. Mrs. Braswell was a member of Haymount United Methodist Church and a graduate of Woodard Herring School of Nursing in Wilson. She also studied at Barton College. She is survived by her husband, Judge E. Maurice Braswell of the home; sons, Edwin M. "Ed" Braswell Jr. and wife Nancy of Emerald Isle and Mark W. Braswell of Miami Beach, Fla.; daughter, Susan Braswell Moore and husband David H. of Chapel Hill; brothers, Emmette W. Cox and wife Lydia of Fayetteville and Wilton L. Cox of Stantonsburg; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Monday, April 22, 2013, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haymount United Methodist Church Building Fund, "New Legacy Phase III," 1700 Fort Bragg Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Haymount United Methodist Church, with the Rev.
