Ruth Perry-Sims, 86, of Fayetteville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 29, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side.

Ruth was born March 22, 1935 in Saxon, Germany to the late Walter B. Mothes and Anna Loebig Mothes. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard L. Perry and Lewis P. Sims and a sister, Gudrun Edith Barwig.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11 am at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Albemarle, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11:00 am on Saturday.

Ruth is survived by a son, Dr. Everett L. Perry and wife Teresa; daughter, Dr. Stephanie Perry; granddaughters, Jessica M. Perry, Katelyn J. Andrews and husband Jonah, Josephine Perry; great-grandson, Jameson Andrews; nieces and nephews.
